Building variation from the product’s distinctive cues.
The challenge
Social demands variation. Brands need recognition.
For Yankie Banan, the challenge was to create content that could keep changing with the feed,
while still making the product easy to remember when people met it in store.
The solution
We built recognition into the variation by starting with what the product already gave us.
Yankie Banan’s colour, packaging, typography, shapes and sound became the raw material for the campaign. Yellow defined the world, the visual language grew directly from the pack, and even the campaign song used the Yankie name.
That gave us a flexible social system where formats could change without losing the connection to the product. Instead of creating a campaign universe around Yankie Banan, we built one from Yankie Banan.
